Women Shaping the Future of Energy: Careers, Capital & Infrastructure | A Lunch Fireside Chat

As part of the Symposium, the Women in Clean Energy team is organizing a lunch fireside chat bringing together women leaders from different vantage points across the energy and infrastructure ecosystem.

The Women in Clean Energy team, part of the Columbia Energy Association (CEA), is dedicated to creating opportunities for students to connect with, learn from, and build careers alongside women working across the energy sector.

The conversation will explore where the energy industry is headed and what its evolution looks like from different sides of the table, spanning investment and finance, infrastructure development, government, and entrepreneurship. We hope to have a substantive discussion about the opportunities, challenges, and shifts these leaders are seeing firsthand, while also exploring the career paths, experiences, and decisions that have shaped their journeys in the sector.

A central goal of the event is to make the energy industry more accessible to students by exposing them to the breadth of opportunities and career pathways within it. The fireside chat will be followed by a small networking session, giving students an opportunity to engage directly with speakers, ask questions, and build meaningful connections.

To ensure meaningful interaction with speakers, attendance will be limited. Selected participants will receive confirmation and event details from the Women in Energy team after completing the application below.

12:00 pm - 1:15pm in classrooms 511B, 511C, 501A, 502 Pulitzer Hall
